6 Litre Foam Fire Extinguishers With Brackets

Foam fire extinguishers are designed to fight “Class A and B” fires. Class A Fires include solids such as paper, wood, plastics and upholstery. Class B fires are fire involving flammable liquids. Foam extinguishes Class A fires by cooling the fire and extinguishes Class B fires by creating a film forming blanket over the substance on fire, this starves the fire from oxygen allowing it to extinguish the fire. Water is also used to add a cooling element. The 6 litre model includes a transport bracket making it ideal for vehicle applications, as well as for use within the workshops and small industrial units. For larger industrial units, we recommend using the 6 litre foam extinguisher. All the fire extinguishers we distribute are the ‘commander’ brand and are fully CE marked, manufactured to BS EN3 standards & have been fire tested by Lloyds Register.
